Emrys Skye – Founder of Dragon Frequency

My relationship with sound began early. In the 1960s, my father placed a silver trombone in my hands. We were not a family of many words, but something was passed to me that day. By the age of eleven, music had already become my language, marching bands, brass, rhythm and a lifelong sensitivity to resonance had taken root.

At the same time, my inner world was opening. Spiritual experiences, intuitive moments, and early encounters with unseen energies sat alongside music as something natural rather than extraordinary. Sound and spirit were never separate for me, they arrived together.

As the years unfolded, I played in naval and army reserve bands, explored percussion, and immersed myself in holistic practice. Reiki, sound healing, gongs, solfeggio frequencies, vibration, and resonance became not tools to master, but environments to listen within. I came to understand that sound does not simply travel through space, it reorganises it.

Dragon Frequency grew from this understanding.

I do not claim to prove anything. I am not interested in convincing. What I have done, over decades of practice, is observe patterns, how certain frequencies invite deep meditation, how resonance affects awareness, how rhythm softens the mind and opens creative states. Whether through gongs, frequency tubes, or sacred geometry, the same principle returns: coherence creates experience.

The frequency tubes emerged from this curiosity, instruments designed not for performance, but for interaction. When tuned and played together, they generate resultant tones that many people experience as deeply calming, expansive, and centring. Time slows. Thought quietens. Something aligns.

The dragon energy arrived later, not as an idea, but as a presence. Dragons have always represented guardianship, elemental intelligence, and power held with restraint. Over time, distinct energies and frequencies presented themselves, forming what I now call Dragon Frequency. Whether understood symbolically, energetically, or intuitively, they provide a framework through which sound can be approached with respect and intention.

Dragon Frequency workshops are an invitation, not to believe, but to experience. They offer a space where sound becomes a guide rather than a spectacle, and where participants are free to discover what resonance unlocks within them.

This work continues to evolve. It always will.
