Gong & Tube Deals
Welcome to our Exclusive Student gong and tube deals page.
All the Gongs and most of the Tubes are in stock, please ignore the out of stock titles they are all available for students to take home during their training weekends.
It's not just about the techniques, the playing and the grounding, it's also about finding the right instrument to connect and resonate.
Every gong is unique. When you connect with your gong, you will sense her individuality! For some they sense a gift for healing resolutions and perhaps others the patterns of deeper states of journey consciousness. Each gong releases an awesome brightness. I have heard it described in so many different and subjective ways and so I will ask you to describe this understanding, when you come in physical contact with your beautiful instrument. Your connection, your energy and your feelings are what counts here, everything else is based on judgement of others.
I have spent many years seeking to find suitable gongs at affordable prices. Chinese gongs vary by manufacturer with many based in Wuhan. I believe to have found a rich source of high quality gong and to help ease the cost burden and to maintain my vision of a gong bath in every village, town and city I offer a special exclusive rate for students.
All the Chinese Gongs during the training programme are available to purchase and with no expensive shipping arrangements, you get to go home with what vibrates with you. For simplicity I have itemised each gong package enabling a simple purchase payment via the debit/credit card method.
These are bronze gongs made from virgin materials. The size, weight and finished engineering ratios will determine the sound, frequency and vibrational structure.
I also make and sell wooden stand, quality carry case and fleecy mallets, everything you need to get started.
I also create Tubular Bells to complement the sound and vibration family. My tubes are made from high quality Aluminium purchased through a reputable metal merchant in Norwich. They differ in outside diameter sizing depending on the application. They all have an inner wall of 3.2mm thick (10swg), be cautious of sellers and manufacturers who gloss up the sales pitch yet fail to give you the instruments wall thickness. Also ensure the tubes nodes are correctly positioned to ensure harmonic overtones.
The large 63.5mm (2 ½") and extra large 76mm (3") are great for Gong Bath events. The small 32mm ( 1 ¼") and medium 38mm (1 ½") are great for small groups and one to one applications. Please remember all our aluminium tubes have a 3.2mm thick wall resulting in a sustain, greatly enhanced by its thicker wall. The reason I decided to make them was simply the thinner walled tubes available, had a tinny clarity approach, mostly accurate in tone yet lacking in resultant sustain. They just did not cut the mustard, nice twinkly sounds without the oomph of sustainable outcomes.
When I look to buy a gong or frequency tube I aim to connect with my instrument. Therefore, all the gongs listed here are available to be played enabling you to connect when you attend courses and workshop days, and therefore are only available for kerbside collection.
I hope this helps you on your unique and amazing gong journey.
